This week's story for Children's Religious Education
We are using a curriculum called Picture Book Unitarian Universalism, written by Katie Covey. Each lesson is based around a picture book that illustrated our Unitarian Universalist identity. This week’s story is The Big Orange Splot. It’s about a man, Mr. Plumbean, that celebrates his own self-expression—something that we Unitarian Universalists value. Read through the lesson plan and see what supplies are already available. The book has been scanned and read-aloud so your child(ren) can enjoy the pictures right on your screen. Don’t feel you have to do all the activities—have fun! Download the Lesson Plan.
