More Ways to Get Involved!

Palestine/Israel Social Justice
We work for human rights and equality for all people in Palestine/Israel. For more info, see our Palestine/Israel page.

Reproductive Justice Group
Reproductive justice focuses not only on access to safe and legal reproductive health care, but also the social, political, and economic inequalities across communities that historically have limited this access. For more info, see our Reproductive Justice page.
Sanctuary
Our congregation affirms the inherent worth and dignity of every person and we seek justice, equity and compassion in human relations; and, that every person's basic human and civil rights should be respected. As people of faith, we are called to welcome and protect the stranger and to offer safety and loving hospitality to those in need. For more info, see our Sanctuary page.

Programs and activities

Generosity Offerings
One important way that we act on our values as a congregation is through our monthly Generosity Offerings. Each month, our congregation gives 85% of our Sunday collection (not designated for the church) to a local organization working to create justice and compassion in our community. Learn more and nominate an organization on our Generosity Offerings page.
Weekly Food Drive
When we are able to meet in person we collect food to be distributed through our South Bay Food Pantry and invite you to place your non-perishable food donations in the barrel on the Hillcrest patio each week.

Acting on Our Values to Help Heal the World

Our purpose is to create justice and compassion in our community through spiritually-grounded action. Learn more about what SJET does and see FAQs. Download our Social Justice Executive Team Mission Statement.
