Participate in our Generosity Offering
A change in our offering practice - In an effort to better align our Generosity Offering policy with our values and priorities, support our Journey Toward Wholeness and to meet this moment, the Social Justice Executive Team is re-evaluating our previously scheduled monthly GO recipients for this calendar year and will be prioritizing BIPOC-led/serving groups. To this end and to honor our commitment and the original selection process, we are planning to make a financial gift to each of the original organizations.

Uptown Community Service Center The Uptown Community Service Center in City Heights exists to support San Diego neighbors who are unhoused and/or living in extreme poverty. With their guiding belief that every person is worthy and should be treated with respect and kindness, the Center's doors are open to provide food, showers, hygiene products, mailboxes, and clothing to an underserved and fragile population. With the increase in homelessness in San Diego, the work of the Uptown Center is needed more than ever. |
Children's Religious Education at Home
We are currently using a curriculum called Picture Book Unitarian Universalism, written by Katie Covey. Each lesson is based around a picture book that illustrates our Unitarian Universalist identity. You'll find video lessons and downloads, along with more materials over time, in our Children's RE Library. To watch a read-along video and download the lesson plan visit our Family Ministry Library.

What is Live Streaming?
A live stream is a video that you can watch live while it's happening. From technical aspects to pedagogy, our goal is to deliver a deeply meaningful and high quality presentation which can be viewed anywhere on any device. We're also filming our services so you can watch them any time afterwards too. We hope you find our services online comforting, enjoyable and inspiring. We appreciate your patience as we work through the steps of putting it all together. For past services and sermons, see our Messages page.

"Thank you and all the church staff and our gifted poets for today’s soothing worship service. I appreciate all the loving technical expertise it takes to organize so many venues and participants so smoothly to provide all us congregants with so much sustenance every Sunday morning. The sound, for me, was perfect today, and the visuals inspiring. A wonderful start for this week! Yours in our faith, Betsy" ~ Betsy, San Diego |
