Theme: Strength for the Journey: Supporting Each Other in Changing Times
When: Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19, 2026
Where: Camp de Benneville Pines, Angeles Oak, CA
Hours: Friday arrival anytime 10-6pm, dinner 6pm, to Sunday lunch at noon
Join us in the mountains for fresh air and quality time with new friends and old brothers. Our Renewals are life-affirming, supportive, positive events. Newcomers are especially invited to come, relax, and reflect in this gentle, accepting environment.
At the Renewal, you will have a great opportunity to step away from the busyness of your daily life. You can explore where you have been, where you are now, and where you’re headed. There will be time to connect with other men in an atmosphere of mutual support, encouragement, and brotherhood. Come discover fresh perspectives, deeper connections, and renewed strength.
Part of our work during the Renewal is done in small Kinship Groups, facilitated by experienced members of the fellowship. You will experience the great gifts of both listening and being heard. Building on trust and confidentiality, men in each Kinship Group learn to support one another. In the beauty of the mountains and the safety and fellowship of brotherhood, we will hang out, drum, sing, chant, laugh, and tell our stories. The mountain air is fresh and the food is great. Seize the moment. Be there!
Men attending these Renewals find the experience important to their lives and come back year after year, living as fathers, sons, brothers, partners, husbands, and members of society.

The Mission of the Men’s Fellowship:
Living with compassion, integrity, responsibility, and balance, the Unitarian Universalist Men's Fellowship (UUMF) is an affiliated organization of First UU Church of San Diego. We are men deepening who we are as brothers, sons, fathers, grandfathers, husbands and partners. We are a caring, intentionally diverse brotherhood, committed to social justice, and offering opportunities for connection and personal growth. We actively welcome men of all ages, backgrounds and diversities: straight, gay and transgender.

From 7-9pm we do an optional check-in, then discuss a topic dealing with men’s issues. The topics are announced via email to UUMF participants. Most meetings are also available on Zoom.
