Neighborhood Groups

Cultivating Local Community

​These are gatherings of people who live in common areas who meet in social gathering for support and fellowship.

Neighborhood Group Without Borders

Generally meets every 2nd Wednesday, 11 am - 1 pm at Susan Riegel Harding's home.
​
Coffee, water, and other beverages will be provided. Text RSVP to 619-987-6234 to reserve one of 14 available spaces each month and receive address.

Clairemont / Bay Park

Currently on hiatus, if you are interested in joining or hosting a group in this area, please contact the Membership Development and Communications Coordinator. ​

North County Inland

Includes the areas of Mira Mesa, Scripps Ranch, PQ, 4S, RB, Poway, Ramona, Escondido. Currently on hiatus, if you are interested in joining or hosting a group in this area, please contact the front office. 

Pacific Beach

Generally meets every 4th Sunday, late afternoon at various homes of members.
​We have finger food potluck, usually a short check in, then a discussion on various wide ranging topics. All are welcome to attend. For more info contact Alec Harootunian by email at or Julie McKane by email at

Point Loma / Ocean Beach

Generally meets four to eight times per year.  We are a social group of welcoming, fun, friendly, diverse, singles and couples.  Our gatherings include a potluck and there is usually a theme or topic for each get together. The Combined Near- and Middle-East County UU Neighborhood Group

Includes Kensington, College Area, Del Cerro and San Carlos.  For details contact Lesley Sanders at [email protected] 

The Far-East County UU Neighborhood Group

Generally meets every other month at various members' homes on a Sunday evening; dates & time determined by the hosts for each potluck, but usually around 6pm.

Tierrasanta

We meet  the 1st Sunday of most every month at member's homes, but during Covid, and after being fully vaccinated, we've met outside in groups of about 10. ​​For more info contact Drew Massicot by phone at (619) 460-2901 or by email at [email protected].

University City

UU South Bay Neighborhood Group

Times, locations and activities vary.
The hosts determine activities and start times. Potlucks, socializing at individuals’ homes or Rec Centers. All members & friends living in the South Bay are invited.
