Our favorite time of the year is almost here - it’s time to plan event and service offerings for D4$! Let us know the host/co-host, date, time, and details. Visit the D4$ patio table, starting March 1. Deadline for submitting events is March 31. Your event will be printed in a colorful bidding booklet, with descriptions and minimum bids. All bidding will be online starting May 3, 2020 and continuing throughout the month. All bidding will be available online through the church’s auction bidding site. After each service beginning May 3, May 10, May 17 and May 24, those church members, friends, and regular attendees and their families who need the extra help may enter bids on devices with the help of techie experts in Bard Hall. 2019: What is the Dining for Dollar$ Auction?Going strong for more than 16 years, Dining for Dollar$ is one of our most popular collection of fundraising events given by many different hosts throughout the year. They offer events such as a dinner, museum tour, park party, craft workshop and then the rest of us bid on the offerings in an online auction throughout the month of May. In the past few years, we've raised as much as $55,000 towards the church's operating budget with 147 events offered! Dining for Dollar$ is built on the concept of members creating and hosting fellow church members and their families & friends for dinners, teas and picnics, museum tours with lunch, pool parties, brunches & barbecues, cooking classes and other events. But Dining for Dollar$ is about more than eating! We also get together for professional services like computer help, tax assistance, chiropractic, reiki and acupuncture, lessons, and even heavily discounted vacation rentals! Whether you participate as a Bidder or a Host, we know you'll have a great time getting involved with Dining for Dollar$. Submit a host form here through the month of March.
