With the critical 2026 elections approaching, many of us are asking ourselves: How can I put my faith into action and make a tangible impact on our democracy?

The answer starts right here in our own community. You are warmly invited to join us for our local UU the Vote Launch!

• Where: The Common Room, First UU Campus

What is UU the Vote?
UU the Vote is a non-partisan faith-based movement that grounds our political activism in our Unitarian Universalist values. It’s all about fighting for a fair democracy, protecting voting rights, and organizing for climate justice, reproductive freedom, and a future where every voice matters.

What We’ll Cover at the Launch:

• The National Strategy: We’ll look at the tools and frameworks provided by the national UU the Vote team.
• Analyzing Recommendations: We will break down which tactics (like phone banking, letter writing, or door-to-door canvassing) fit our specific community best.
• Setting Our Goals: Together, we’ll define exactly what our congregation wants to achieve during this election cycle.

Whether you are a seasoned activist or brand new to organizing, there is a place for you in this work. Every letter written, phone call made, and voter registered counts.
