About the Film
The Letter: A Message for Our World is a powerful, thought-provoking documentary exploring the far-reaching impacts of climate change, paths toward ecological solutions, and the strength of human resilience.

In the film, Pope Francis reaches across faiths, cultures, and continents by sending personal letters to grassroots leaders in Hawaii, India, Senegal, and the Amazon, inviting them to a summit at the Vatican. As these frontline activists come together to share their stories and search for solutions, the film brings into focus a core truth: what affects one of us affects all of us. Because climate change recognizes no boundaries, ecological action demands unity across the globe.
