What’s happening in our classes on Sunday March 9
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. This Week our children will explore their lesson “My World Has Fish.” In this session, our children will learn about the variety of creatures that share our world and will talk about ways to take care of the water in our environment.
At 9:30 and 11:30 our Picture Book UU class for four-year olds through our first graders will meet together in room 103 This Week’s session focuses on the Henry Works. In exploring this story, the children will explore our UU History and the sense of creativity and change.
At 9:30 This week in Values in Game Playing the students will explore the children’s game Chutes and Ladders. What values will they discover?
At both 9:30 and 11:30 Our Students in the 7 Principles Banner Class will continue their discussion of our Principles by creating images for the second of their Principle banner squares for out Second Principle – Justice, Equity and Compassion in Human Relations.
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 at our South Bay Campus have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. Come and hear Rev. Kathleen preach on ‘Rediscovering Carnival.’ As we continue examining the role of this festival in our lives. There is a special story for children before they leave for their class.
