What's Happening in Children's Programming on January 5

What’s happening in our classes on Sunday Janaury 5

At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.

At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.

Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. This Week our children will explore their lesson “I Can Ask Questions.” This session will help our children understand that as Unitarian Universalists we believe that we keep on growing and learning and that the best way to do that is by asking questions.

At 9:30 and 11:30 our Picture Book UU class for four-year olds through our first graders will meet together in room 103. This Weeks Lesson focuses on the picture book On the Night You Were Born. This book emphasizes the concept expressed in Sophia Fahs’ poem”Each Night a Child is Born is a Holy Night.”

At both 9:30 and 11:30 our classes for Grades 2-6 will continue our monthly worship series. Join us as again we hear an exciting adventure Where Do We Come From? Who Are We? Where Are We Going? Using the words of a favorite hymn from our Hymnal we will explore together someone who will embody our Third Source – Wisdom from the World’s Religions.

At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. This Sunday Intern Minister Elizabeth Bukey will preach on Liberation Theology. The service will include a story for children and then they will leave to discuss the topic further in class with their leaders.
