Dr. Seuss Summer!
Our Children ages 4 – 6 will be exploring our Unitarian Universalist values with the curriculum Fun with Dr. Seuss. This Sunday, the children will hear the story McElligot’s Pool. The class will explore using their imaginations to solve problems.
Our children in grades 2 – 6 will also use a Dr. Seuss curriculum, Dr. Seuss and the Unitarian Universalists. The sessions will use the stories to connect the students to our source of the use of reason and the Scientific method. This week’s story is Bartholomew and the Oobleck. The class will explore the scientific concept of non-Newtonian fluids! This sounds heavy, but it’s lots of fun!
South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 at our South Bay Campus have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. This Sunday Rev. Arvid will preach his sermon “Choosing Joy.” Come and explore this topic together. The story for the morning is “It Could Always Be Worse.”
