What’s happening in our classes on Sunday October 6?
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum,Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can Move.” The class will have an opportunity to affirm the abilities of their own bodies, and to feel validated as a unique and special person.
At both 9:30 and 11:30 our four-year olds through our first graders will explore the curriculum Picture Book UU and meet in room 103. This Weeks Lesson focuses on the picture book Owen & Mzee. This picture book help our children explore our value of friendship and our Third Principle which calls us to learn and grow together.
At both services we will begin our monthly worship series for 2nd to 6th Grade Students. Join us as again we hear an exciting adventure written specially for us by Les GrantSmith! The title this year is Where Do We Come From? Who Are We? Where Are We Going? Using the words of a favorite hymn from our Hymnal, Singing the Journey we will adventure together though the sources of Unitarian Universalism. Come this Sunday and be introduced to the characters in this year’s story. So, where are we going?
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. Come and hear Intern Minister Elizabeth Bukey speak on Living on the Side of Love. This week our will children the service part way through to explore the idea further with their leaders.
