This Week in Children's Programming
What’s happening in our classes on Sunday November 3
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum, Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can See.” This session will help our children explore the beauty of nature and excitement of color in the world around us.
At 9:30 and 11:30 our Picture Book UU classes (four-year olds through our first graders) will meet together in room 103. This Weeks Lesson focuses on the picture book Henry Hikes to Fitchburg. In exploring this story our children will learn some of our Unitarian roots as they follow “Henry” (a bear based on Henry David Thoreau) as he races his friend to Fitchburg. The book also expresses the idea that there are times when taking time offers us more experiences than saving time does.
Our classes for Grades 2-6
At 9:30 and 11:30 we will continue our monthly worship series. Join us as again we hear an exciting adventure Where Do We Come From? Who Are We? Where Are We Going? Using the words of a favorite hymn from our Hymnal we will explore together someone who will embody our First Source – Direct experience of mystery and wonder.
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a multigenerational setting. Rev. Arvid will preach his sermon “How not to be a Zombie: Being Alive in a Deadening World.” We will share a special story for all ages and out children will meet with their leaders to explore the topic together in their classroom.
