What’s happening in our classes on Sunday December 8
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum, Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can Smell.” This session our children will experience a sense of wonder at the world through their sense of smell.
At both 9:30 and 11:30 our four-year olds through our first graders will explore the curriculum Picture Book UU and meet in room 103. This Weeks Lesson focuses on the picture book The Shortest Day. In exploring this story the children will explore the balance of the seasons and the cycles of nature.
At 9:30 we offer two classes for Grades 2-6.
Values Through Game Playing will meet in room 113. The class will continue to explore the values inherent in the games they play. What values will they learn from playing Jenga?
7 Principles Banner Class will meet in room 115. This session continues the creation of the banner squares. This week the class will create a square for the Fifth of our UU Principles.
At 11:30 for Grades 2-6 we offer Values Through Game Playing. The class will meet in room 113. The class will continue to explore the values inherent in the games they play. What values will they learn from playing Jenga?
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. Come and hear our Intern Minister Elizabeth Bukey preach her sermon, “The God We Don’t Believe In.” There will be a special story for all ages as part of this service.
