What’s happening in our classes on Sunday November 24?
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum, Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can Say Thank You.” This session our children will prepare for Thanksgiving by talking about the things we are thankful for.
At both 9:30 and 11:30 all Our children age 4 through 6th Grade will gather together when they leave the Meeting House to participate in a special Children’s Chapel Service. Our Youth (Jr. and Sr. High) will lead the service. As part of this special Thanksgiving Service, the UUSC Guest at Your Table program will be introduced and the Children will make their own collection boxes.
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. This Sunday, Elizabeth Bukey and Liz Jones will lead the congregation in an interactive, multi-generational service around the theme of Gratitude. Following the service the entire congregation will have the opportunity to make and decorate their own Guest at Your Table boxes for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee program.
