This Week in Children's Programming 11-17-13

What’s happening in our classes on Sunday November 17?

At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.

At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.

Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum, Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can Taste.” This session our children will celebrate their sense of taste, and explore the diversity revealed in our world through taste.

At both 9:30 and 11:30 our four-year olds through our first graders will explore the curriculum Picture Book UU and meet in room 103. This Weeks Lesson focuses on the picture book Over the River and Through the Woods. In exploring this story the children begin to understand how we need a balance of joy and justice in our world.

At 9:30 we offer two classes for Grades 2-6.
Values Through Game Playing will meet in room 113. The class will continue to explore the values inherent in the games they play. What values will they learn from playing Mancala?
and
7 Principles Banner Class will meet in room 115. This session continues the creation of the banner squares. This week the class will create a square for the Fourth of our UU Principles.

At 11:30 for Grades 2-6 we offer Values Through Game Playing. The class will meet in room 113. The class will continue to explore the values inherent in the games they play. What values will they learn from playing Mancala?

At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. Come and hear Rev. Kathleen preach her sermon “Power to the People,” and hear a special story for all. Children will have an opportunity to gather after the story for s session on their own to further discuss the story.
