This Week in Children's Programming
What’s happening in our classes on Sunday October 20?
At our Hillcrest Campus:
We have Nursery Care is for children from birth up to age two in room 107 at our 9:30 service.
At 11:30 we provide Childcare for children birth through age three in room 105.
Our 2s & 3s class will meet in room 105 at 9:30. In their curriculum, Celebrating Me and My World, the children will explore their lesson “I Can Talk.” This lesson will help children learn how they can use the ability to talk to share ideas and feelings with each other.
Our Children from 4 years old through 6th Grade will present our annual International Food Faire as a way to raise awareness of the United Nations on this UN Sunday, and to help raise funds for UNICEF (the United Nations’ Children’s Fund). Join the classes in Bard Hall after the service to sample the food they have to offer and make a donation to UNICEF!
This is a wonderful way for our children to experience an easy hands-on project that allows them to help others. Please come and support them!
At Our South Bay Campus:
Families who attend the service at 9:30 have the opportunity to worship together in a multigenerational setting. Rev. Kathleen will be sharing her sermon “The Messiness of Creation.” There will be a special story for all ages, and the children will leave with their leaders to explore creativity in more depth with some special hands-on projects.
