This Sunday in Children's Religious Education: Oct. 12th, 2014
Children’s Religious Education at Hillcrest Campus
9:30 & 11:30
Childcare is provided for children from birth through age 3 in room 105.
2 and 3 y/o: Celebrating Me and My World: This class helps children learn to celebrate the world around them while building friendships and self confidence. Children in this class may be brought directly to their classroom. This week’s lesson is “I can smell!”
9:30 & 11:30
All prek-6th grade classes will spend this week preparing for UN Sunday on Oct. 19th. We will be learning about the following countries:
preK-1st grade: Wonderful Welcome: China
2-4th grade: Moral Tales: Ireland
5-6th grade: Amazing Grace: Switzerland
A Reminder: Unless otherwise noted, children four years old and up begin their Sunday morning in the Worship Service with their family. We consider the time we spend together in worship before classes begin as an integral part of our Sunday morning experience. Children three and younger may be left in childcare before you enter the Meeting House and need to be picked up immediately after the service.
South Bay Campus:
Sunday, October 5th
Families who attend the service at 9:30 at our South Bay Campus have the opportunity to worship together in a mutigenerational setting. The story for this week is “Slowly, Slowly, Slowly” Said the Sloth by Eric Carle. This week Intern Minister Adam Dyer will preach hissermon “Which Came first the Chicken. . .or the cart?”
