Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

A sangha is a group of individuals who are interested in learning about or developing a practice based on the teachings of the Buddha. Two such groups meet weekly in Clark Chapel at the times listed above. Both start with a period of silent sitting meditation followed by a brief ritual and discussion of meditation or practice and announcements. The last hour is reserved for a Dharma (teaching) presentation and/or discussion. This teaching is usually in the form of a book discussion, audio dharma talk, or visiting teacher/monk talk. The meditation on Monday evenings is twenty minutes in length; on Wednesday mornings is 40 minutes. For those desiring a shorter meditation, we suggest that you arrive an appropriate time later and enter the chapel quietly.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of their experience with the Buddhist tradition. For more information contact John Holl at 619-546-6525 or e-mail johnholl@cox.net.
