THANK YOU to the 5th and 6th grade leaders for raising awareness and donations to help homeless and economically challenged people in San Diego. The slogan at UPTOWN is "A hand UP, not a handout". You stood at your table in the patio Sunday after Sunday to answer questions. You shared why this effort was important to you from the pulpit during services. I'm so proud of you! Thanks, adult leader Eric Isaacson, guest presenter Rex Graham, Kathe Larick and Melissa James, for establishing an environment that promotes action from the heart.
