Generosity Offerings

Supporting our vision

One important way that we act on our values as a congregation is through our monthly Generosity Offerings. Each year, our congregation gives away over $50,000 to local organizations working to create justice and compassion.

Generosity Offering Suggestions

The Social Justice Ministry Team (SJMT) selects the organizations that will be the recipients of the monthly generosity offering from suggestions made by the entire congregation. To be considered, organizations must be outside (non-UU), local non-profits (must have 501c3 status) that reflect UU values. If you would like to nominate an organization, please fill out the form below. We are accepting submissions for next year's recipients until Friday, September 14, 2018.

To request a paper copy of the nomination form or for questions about the online form and policy/process, contact Angela Fujii, Social Justice Coordinator, angela@firstuusandiego.org, 619-298-9978, x222.
