My 21 years serving you and our faith community have been among the most fulfilling of my life. I have had the blessing of being part of many of your families as your children grew. Your children enriched my life and I had the great pleasure of getting to know you. I will miss you all.
I move forward into a new phase of my life. My husband has been retired for several years and has waiting for me to have more time to do new things together. My family is spreading wider around the country and I need to be able to travel to visit with them. I plan to reconnect with my artistic side by getting my loom back out of storage and try my hand more at drawing.
I will continue to stay connected to Unitarian Univsersalism which I believe is so important for us as individuals and to our future. I have several volunteer roles throughout the association and will eventually return to First Church. My commitment to how transforming and saving Unitarian Universalism can be for us as individuals and to our society continues.
I trust that you will give our new Director of Children’s Religious Education and Family Ministry the same support and love you have given me, and that the church will thrive under the collaboration of you and all the new staff.
You are in my heart.
