de Benneville Pines Camp Memory Project

Sunday, October 8, 1 pm-2:30 pm, Bard Hall. Join us as we summon the spirit of Camp de Benneville Pines with the world debut of the Camp Memory Project. Part worship service, part story slam, part call for support, our First Church program will include readings and stories by Rev. Carolyn Owen-Towle, Ardath Schaibly, youth, and special guests. Following this, we’ll have light refreshments and a Q&A on Camp’s new strategic plan. Contact Nancy Fisk for more information.

I believe camp is a social action / social justice action of our local U.U. congregations. The impact on affect for one thing along with Earth knowledge ought not be trivialized. All ages benefit from this experience, the soul benefits. Even when only one person who never has been out of the city attends a camp/retreat and walks away changed, all of society benefits.

I offer my time and talents to keep de Benneville Pines running for these reasons are plenty of reason for me. And, I love it.
