Clean Elections

For the best candidates, not the wealthiest

We are fulfilling our mission by supporting a proposed Clean Elections Initiative for the City of San Diego in 2020. Our main emphasis at this time is building support for clean elections through contacting past clean elections supporters. We are also planning for an upcoming outreach program.

We meet, as a committee, on the first Wednesday of the month at 6 pm in Room 113 on our Hillcrest Campus. All are welcome.

The mission of the Clean Elections Task Force is to ensure that all San Diegans have a say in our government by supporting public financing of elections. Clean elections would ensure that our elected officials are accountable to voters, not donors, and opens up the political process so the best candidates, not just the wealthiest candidates, can pursue elected office.
