Buddhist Sangha

A warm and welcoming community

A Sangha is a group of individuals gathering together to learn more of the teachings of the Buddha, and to support each other in their collective spiritual and life journeys. Our Sanghas meet in Room 323 of the Welcome Center every Monday evening 7 to 8:30 pm, and Wednesday morning 10 am to noon. The Welcome Center is the two story building on the right as you enter the campus.

Both meetings include sitting meditation followed by a brief ceremony, The remaining time is centered around either a book discussion, a pre-recorded dharma talk, or a visiting teacher presentation. Visitors are always welcome. No prior experience or Buddhist commitment is necessary. For more information, please Email Lisa Thurn, 619-267-4325 (Monday meeting) or John Holl 619-546-6525 (Wednesday meeting).
