A Sangha is a group of individuals gathering together to learn more of the teachings of the Buddha and to support each other in their collective spiritual and life journeys. Our Sanghas meet in Bard Hall every Monday evening 7-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday morning 10 a.m. to noon. Bard Hall is located on the lower campus patio around the south side of the Meeting House.
The Monday evening group begins with a 20 minute silent sitting meditation; the Wednesday morning group begins with a 40 minute meditation, It’s OK to arrive late and enter quietly. The meditation is followed by an opening chant and ceremony, introductions, and discussion of our practice, meditation, or Buddhist topics. The remaining time is centered around either a book discussion, a pre-recorded dharma talk, or a visiting teacher.
Visitors are always welcome. No prior experience or Buddhist commitment are necessary. For more information, please
