  • Responding to Gun Violence

    Starting on September 10, your ministers will hold a monthly vespers service in Clark Chapel from 6 pm — 6:30 pm in response to rising gun violence in our country. This service will be a time for lamentations, prayer and opportunities for action. Our community partners, SD4GVP (San Diegans for Gun Violence Prevention) will join us and offer ways to connect with this work.   Read more.

    Your Music hiring team has been hard at work and we want to share some news. We reviewed around 35 applications, interviewed around a dozen folks and held six or eight auditions. We’re happy to share that Lara Korneychuk will be our Interim Music Coordinator.   Read more.

  • Looking Glass Theatre Auditions for 12 Angry Jurors

    Friday, August 9, 7 pm / Saturday, August 10, 10 am / Sunday August 11, 2 pm, Meeting House. Looking Glass Theatre is excited to present a play based on the Emmy-wining TV movie, 12 Angry Men. This audition is open to all genders, aged teen through adult.   Read more.

  • Specialty Sale - October 12th!

    Our Specialty Sale is scheduled for October 12 and we’re seeking art and collectibles, jewelry, scarves, hats, and handbags to raise money for the church. We will be accepting donations starting Friday, 10/4 and are looking for volunteers!  Read more.

  • An Evening with Dr. David Campt – Becoming an Effective Anti-racism Ally Workshop

    Sunday, August 4th, 2019
    Learn how to use compassionate conversation to dismantle racism one conversation at a time. Join Dr. David Campt as we explore "radical acceptance" end engage on a journey as a compassionate warrior. Meet and greet from 4:30-5:30. Workshop from 5:30-8:30pm.   • Corner Sign Update

    We want to share that the plexiglass that was defaced on our sign at the corner of Front and Arbor Streets has been replaced thanks to a donation from Crack in the Wall Picture Frames. The police investigated, and apprehended the person who defaced our sign. We have ordered a new, larger interior poster and when that arrives we will hold a public rededication ceremony to be clear that we remain firm and committed to our values of justice, inclusion, and celebration.   Read more.
